Aldea de la higuera (village of the fig tree) is our little hideaway in Spain where we have found peace and tranquility.  Its the perfect place to relax, chill and do absolutely nothing, that is until you wish to do something then there are so many tracks and byways of the hidden green valleys and streams to be explored.

Anywhere you find yourself here is a place to relax, and because our grounds are private and enclosed you will never be disturbed.

Although we do have specific relaxation areas which we have created for your comfort…

The first is the threshing circle which can be found right outside the front of the Spanish House, we have a shady pergola, sun loungers and BBQ area for them perfect summer evenings when you want to eat outside.

Our second relaxation area is by the pool side.  Our infinity pool is new for 2011 and is complete with sun loungers, a pool shower.
We have built a shady pergola for those really hot summer days.

For sanctuary and meditation you will find our shady terraces, wild woodland and river exploring perfect.
